 See the Extreme Bug-E at The Green Commuter. This 3 wheeled EV is powered by a 72v AC motor and is custom built by The Green Commuter's Jo Reyes.

"EVA/DC has embarked on a journey to restore MIT's original Solar EV named the "Aztec". The car has a long history having raced in several NESEA Tour de Sols.

The Aztec mission began 8 years ago when EVA/DC members Jo Reyes, of The Green Commuter, John Clinton and Jerry Asher traveled to Boston to pick up the Aztec and brought it to Jo's garage in Maryland. The two-passenger, three-wheeled vehicle is a 72-volt carbon-fiber car complete with a solar array, custom made magnesium wheels and a Solectria brush-less DC drive train and re-gen braking."

We had the vehicle titled as a car in Maryland. The car is completely restored and we enter it in local parades, past 3 DC auto show and past Takoma Park EVents.
